vw car infotainment

 
this car infotainment system was designed 1996 – and integrated into volkswagen and audi cars until the end of 2004
it was developed by our studio together with volkswagen and blaupunkt

faceplate of this system

homepage of navigation a turn/push button and some hardkeys are the imput devices for this system.

the turn/push button is not located close to the screen. therefore it was not possible to create a visual relationship between button and content.
night viewwe developed a virtual pivot point to help visualizing the interaction between button and screen content. it was visible on every screen.
